On April 12th, 2020 at approximately 19:17 hours this evening Boston Police responded to the area of 8/9 Waldren Road for the ShotSpotter activation. At roughly the same time they began receiving calls for two people shot at 2030 Columbus Ave, one street over. Boston EMS Ambulance 13, Ambulance 21, Paramedic 2, Paramedic 16, Division 2 and C13 all responded as well.
On arrival officers located two adult males who were suffering from apparent gun shot wounds, one was shot in the face, and the other was shot in the upper back on the second floor of the building. EMTs and Paramedics quickly rendered aid, and transported the two victims to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both victims are expected to make a full recovery at this time.
Detectives and Crime Scene Response processed the scene, collecting evidence and reviewing video footage. At this time there have not been any arrests and it is an ongoing investigation.
