One Boston Day, 04/14/2020

On the evening of April 14th, 2020 Boston PoliceBoston FireBoston EMS, with a number of other public safety departments organized a large procession of emergency vehicles to show their appreciation and support to the medical community who have been fighting Covid-19 in the hospitals throughout the city, the same hospitals that answered the call after the Marathon attacks to help the wounded 7 years ago.

The group left BPD headquarters, passing Boston Medical CenterTufts Medical CenterMassachusetts General Hospital, Saint Elizabeth’s, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical CenterBoston Children’s HospitalBrigham and Women’s Hospital, and ending at Carney Hospital. Crowds of medical staff, patients and residents lined the streets cheering as the procession passed. A truly heartwarming sight to be seen as the city came together as one.
