At approximately 21:38 hours on May 5th, Boston EMS Ambulance 2 and Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to the area of Liden Street and Dorchester Ave for the reported person stabbed. 911 callers reported seeing a large group attacking a man before running away before police arrived.
When EMTs arrived they located a patient suffering from apparent stab wounds to the chest. He was quickly transported to a local area hospital with serious injuries, however he is expected to survive and make a full recovery.
Officers were seen loading a man who was in custody into a patrol car however it is unclear at this time to what extent he was involved. Detectives arrived and processed the scene accordingly. At this time BPD is still actively investigating this incident. No further information is available.
