Earlier this morning at approximately 02:45 hours a car full of young women crashed into a woman who was getting into her vehicle at the intersection of Devon Street and Normandy Street in Roxbury. The driver who caused the wreck fled on foot as well as her passengers before First Responders arrived.
Boston Police Officers from District B-2, Boston Fire and Boston EMS Ambulance 4, Paramedic 2 and the Shift Commander responded you the scene. The woman was found to have serious injuries and was quickly stabilized before being transported to local area trauma center.
At this time the woman is expected to recover. The cause of the crash is still under investigation as well as the driver and occupants of the other vehicle are still being sought after.
