Early this morning around 01:30 hours Boston Police, State Troopers, Boston Public Health Police and Boston EMS responded to the Woods Mullen Shelter on Methadone Mile for a large brawl.
When officers arrived they located a man who had been attacked by a large group after getting out of his vehicle in the parking lot of the shelter. The man suffered minor injuries and was evaluated and treated by Boston EMTs before being released.
The man’s car however was ransacked by the local residents and attackers while he was being beaten. The vehicle, which appeared to also be his home, was viciously torn apart with on-lookers grabbing handfuls of his belongings before running off into the night.
At this time no information is available on who the culprits were and if they were caught and charged.
