Shots Fired Across Blue Hill Ave Overnight

Shortly after 01:30 hours this morning Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to the area of Dewy Street and Dacia Street in Roxbury for a ShotSpotter activation for 7 rounds.

Additionally to the ShotSpotter 911 Operations revived multiple calls for bullets that had gone through two different windows at the Thomas Atkins Apartments on Blue Hill Ave.

Multiple casings were expertly located in the area of 18 Dewy Street, as well as ballistic damage to a vehicle on the Street. The lobby window as well as 2nd floor windows that had been called into 911 were also confirmed as ballistic damage.

Detectives were called to the scene and the spent shells, a live round, and projectiles were photographed and taken into evidence. At this time there have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
