At approximately 23:35 hours on Friday Boston Police Officers and Detectives responded to the area of 35 Elmhurst Street for a ShotSpotter activation for at least 13 rounds.
Spent shell casings were found scattered in the street and ballistic damage to a home was located. Detectives were called the scene and the evidence was processed accordingly.
Almost exactly two hours later, Boston Police Officers from District B-3 responded to Elmhurst Street again, this time number 32, for a ShotSpotter activation for 17 rounds.
On Again Police discovered multiple spent shell casings again as well as ballistic damage to a different home. Detectives again came to the scene and collected the evidence.
At this time we can not confirm if these two incidents were related. Additionally no arrests have been made, and no suspect description is available to the public.
