In the early houses on Sunday, Boston Fire responded to Gayland Street for the reported structure fire. On arrival crews located a pile of trash next to the hose that was burning and had extended to the house.
Smoke could be seen coming from the home’s door, window and roof. Firefighters however quickly knocked down the blaze and prevented it from spreading further.
Boston EMS stood by during the fire in case of injuries, however they’re were lucky none to report. All occupants were safely rescued from the home without incident.
