At approximately 21:36 hours on Friday Night, Boston Police Officers from District D-4, Boston Fire and Boston EMS responded to the area of Hammond Street and Sussex Street in Roxbury for the reported pedestrian struck priority one.
On arrival Boston EMS updated that the patient has suffered major trauma and all assets were needed. The man was treated on scene and stabilized before being transported to a local area trauma center with serious injuries.
While canvassing the scene and speaking to witnesses it became clear that the man however was not struck by a vehicle but instead beaten with a blunt object by two suspects who then fled in a car from the scene. Detected recall to investigate and process the evidence that was strewn in the street.
