Man Shot Yesterday evening in Roslindale Expected to Survive

Overnight at approximately 20:00 hours adult Boston Police Officers from District E-5 responded to reports of an adult male shot in the area of Washington Street and Haydn Street in Roslindale. Boston EMS transported the man, who had been shot at least once in the torso, to a local area hospital with serious life threatening injuries.

Due to the severity of his injuries, full notifications were made. The BPD Homicide Unit, Crime Scene Response Unit as well as a member of the DA’s Office all responded to the scene. At this time there have been no arrests and the man is expected to recover from his injuries.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and is asking anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Detectives.
