Overnight Shortly before 23:30 hours Boston Police Officers Assigned to Districts C-11 and B-3 responded to the area of Washington Street near Robert’s Field in Dorchester. On arrival units located a male subject suffering from what appeared to be a very superficial stab wound to the arm.
Boston EMS was called to the scene and the 28-year-old man was transported to a local area hospital without incident. He is most definitely expected to survive his deep scratch wound.
After speaking with witnesses and reviewing camera footage of the incident the man can be seen running out of Robert’s Field. The victim was uncooperative maintaining the story that he simply had “fallen”. At this time investigators are unsure of where the crime took place, with possibilities ranging across the board.
A crime scene was secured and the single drop of evidence was processed. Strong work by all involved. At this time no further information is available on this tragic incident.
