Shortly before 01:00 hours overnight Boston EMS and Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to the area of Strathcona Road, right off of Columbia Road in Dorchester for the reported person stabbed.
An adult victim was located by EMTs suffering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. They were transported to a local area hospital where they expect to make a full recovery.
Detectives were called to the scene and it was processed. A pool of blood could be seen in the street as well as an empty bottle of alcohol and an open pocket knife with blood on it. The scene was photographed and the evidence recovered.
