15+ rounds leave Dorchester Street riddled with bullet holes

Shortly after 04:00 hours this morning Boston Police Officers from district C-11 responded to a ShotSpotter activation for over fifteen rounds fired, as well as a number of 911 calls, for the area of 47 Dracut Street. At least one caller reported that multiple bullets had come through her home, however luckily no one was hit.

Detectives were called to the scene to process the extensive number of spent shell casings and the ballistic damage to neighboring property. The area was cordoned off with tape for about half an hour as the evidence was marked, photographed and collected.
