Shots Fired on MLK Boulevard Again Overnight

At approximately 21:50 hours last night, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to the area of MLK Boulevard near Malcom X Park in Roxbury for a ShotSpotter activation. The system reported about 18 shots were fired and Officers quickly confirmed ballistics on scene.

At least 10 spent shell casings could be seen in the road way as well as broken automobile glass. The PS and District Detectives were called to the scene to investigate and process the recovered ballistic evidence.

A K-9 could be seen searching the area as well as patrolmen who canvased for potential victims and evidence. Detectives photographed the scene thoroughly before collecting the evidence.
