At approximately 20:30 hours on Tuesday November 3rd, Boston Police Officers from District C-6 and Boston EMS responded to the area of 408 E Eighth Street in South Boston for the reports of Shots Fired and a Person Shot. Units quickly responded to the area but they were unable to locate any victims.
Officers were able to locate a scene where they found blood, spent shell casings and even a discarded firearm. A few minutes later, Officers from District D-4 radioed that a shooting victim had been located as a walk in patient at Boston Medical Center. Officers froze the vehicle that had dropped off the victim in orderer to allow detectives to process it. District Detectives from District C-6 responded, photographing the evidence and collecting it.
