Thursday night shortly before midnight, Boston Police received a 911 call for a person shot at 30 Annunciation Road in Roxbury. The 911 caller, a wheelchair bound mother, called claiming her son had been shot in the face during some form of dispute or robbery attempt inside of their apartment.
When offices arrived, they located the adult male victim suffering from numerous injuries possibly consistent with a gunshot wound and beating. Additionally a spent shell casing was located at the scene. A blood trail was also located leaving the scene, believed to be tracked from the assailants.
Boston EMS EMTs and Paramedics quickly arrived on scene and transported the man to a local area trauma center. The man’s injuries at this time are believed to be non-life-threatening.
District Detectives were called to the scene where the processed the evidence. Although witnesses were relatively uncooperative, surveillance camera clearly showed two male subjects fleeing the scene, one of which apparently had a crutch. At this time no arrest have been made no further information is available
