At approximately 17:15 hours yesterday in East Boston a man was shot in the area of Chelsea Street and Gove Street. Boston Police Officers from District A-7 responded to the scene where they located an adult male subject suffering front apparent injuries consistent with a shooting.
Boston EMS quickly responded and transfer the man to local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The area was secured and District Detectives responded to process the scene. According to witnesses the man had been shot after almost being struck by the assailant car while crossing the street, words were exchanged and the driver of the vehicle pulled a firearm and shot the man.
