Massive Drug Bust in Mattapan Result in Recovery of Multiple Firearms

From The Boston Police:

About 4:45am on Friday, January 8, 2021, members of the Citywide Drug Control Unit, District E-18 (Hyde Park) Drug Control Unit and members of the Boston Police Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, executed a Dorchester District Court Search Warrant as part of an ongoing firearm investigation involving the residence of 15 Marcy Road, Mattapan.

As a result, officers recovered a black Ruger 380 firearm which was loaded with (6) rounds of ammunition, a black Ruger 9mm firearm which was loaded with (1) round in the chamber and (12) rounds of ammunition in the magazine, a black Ruger 380 firearm which was loaded with (1) round in the chamber and (6) rounds of ammunition in the magazine, 8 additional feeding devices including a 30 round capacity magazine which contained 15 rounds of ammunition, over 250 live rounds of assorted ammunition, approximately 8 pounds of marijuana, and $2,735.00 in United States Currency.

A 52-year-old male from Mattapan and a 30-year-old male from Mattapan were placed under arrest. Both men were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (3 charges), Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a High-Capacity Feeding Device (2 charges), Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D.
