At around 20:30 hours on Wednesday, Boston EMS, Boston Fire and Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Ave and Melnea Cass Boulevard for the reports of a pedestrian struck. Once on scene responders found an adult suffering from serious, life-threatening-injuries.
The vehicle that struck the person stayed on scene as well as the driver. Due to the severity of the injuries sustained by the victim, state police investigators from the State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section and investigators were called to the scene.
Pools of blood, scattered bags and other objects could be seen strewn across the road behind the vehicle where the victim was hit. At this time there have been no updates on the victim’s condition and charges have not been filed against the driver.
