Working Fire in Mattapan Displaces Three Families

At approximately 10:30 hours, Boston Fire struck Box 3542, Norfolk Street and Morton Street for 14 Verrill Street in Mattapan. Companies quickly responded and knocked down the fire. The blaze displaced three families and there were no injuries reported.

Boston EMS was on scene to stand by and the Red Cross of Massachusetts assisted the residents with shelter. At this time the cause of the fire is still under investigation by Boston FIU. Thank you to our affiliate Hook & Irons Fire Photography who captured these amazing images.
