7 Arrested, 4 Firearms Recovered and Large Amount of Narcotics Seized After Early Morning Sweep by Taskforce

On Wednesday, February 17, 2021 members of the Boston Police Department (Youth Violence Strike Force, BPD SWAT, City Wide Drug Unit, and officers and detectives from other various field and investigative units) in collaboration with officers from the Massachusetts State Police, US Marshals Service, Quincy Police Department, Norwood Police Department and Randolph Police Department executed several search and arrest warrants.

Today’s sweep is the result of an investigation that originated from an incident at Wainwright Park in November 2020, where three people were arrested and 6 firearms were recovered.

During this morning’s court authorized sweep. Boston Police recovered four firearms, ammunition, 144 grams of suspected fentanyl, additional Class B Drugs, additional Class E Drugs, as well as other evidentiary items.

The following individuals were arrested:

Shavea Fyffe, 26, of Randolph was arrested at 3 Gerald Ave in Randolph by virtue of an outstanding Suffolk Superior Court warrant at charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm 

Maliek Palmer-Robinson, 21, of Norwood was arrested at 30 Melville Ave in Norwood by virtue of an outstanding Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2nd Offense), Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, and Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm. 

Trevon Bell, 24, of Brighton was arrested at 319 Blue Ledge Drive in Roslindale by virtue of an outstanding Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging him with (3) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and (2) counts of Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.

Patrick Bishop, 21, of West Roxbury was arrested at 56 Bryon Rd in Chestnut Hill and charged with (2) counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, and Receiving Stolen Property

Keenan Monroe, 26, Dorchester was arrested at 929 Blue Hill Ave in Mattapan by virtue of an outstanding Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (2nd Offense), Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Munroe was additionally charged as an Armed Career Criminal. 

Jaquori Lyons, 22, Dorchester was arrested at 145 Millet in Dorchester by virtue of an outstanding Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested in Dorchester by virtue of a Suffolk Superior Court warrant charging the suspect with Delinquent to wit: Possession of Sawed-Off Shotgun or Machine Gun, and Delinquent to wit: Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. 

All suspects are expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.
