ShotSpotter Activation in Dorchester Last Night

At approximately 02:45 hours early this morning, Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to the area of Bellevue Street and Hamilton Street in Dorchester for a ShotSpotter activation for at least 10 rounds.

When officers arrived on scene they did not locate any victims however they did locate numerous spent shell casings strewn throughout the street as well as ballistic damage to a near by home. The casing were photographed and recovered and the investigation is ongoing.
