Man Stabbed in Downtown Crossing Expected to Live Despite Serious injuries

Thursday night at approximately 18:07, Boston Police from District A-1 and Boston EMS responded to reports of a person being stabbed inside of The Corner Mall in Downtown Crossing. On arrival, responders found an adult male suffering from apparent stab wounds. Blood was seen sprayed on the ground and the down feathers from the man’s coat from being cut open in the scuffle. Police officers quickly developed a suspect description, and according to witnesses and security camera footage, they were able to determine that the assailants made off on foot into the nearby MBTA Station.

Boston Police supposedly took at least one suspect into custody, however, the Department is unable to confirm any arrests at this time. The latest report on the victim is that he is expected to survive, sustaining serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
