Shots Fired behind Holland School in Dorchester Leaves Detective on Dinner Break Pinned Down in the Crossfire

Approximately 20:30 hours last night, Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to a ShotSpotter activation near Beachwood Street in Dorchester, right behind the Holland School.

A detective was caught in the crossfire while parked in the lot, fortunately the rounds kept missing him and only damaging his vehicle instead. Nearly 30 rounds were fired, but no injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.

At this time no arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
