Shortly after 03:00 hours early Thursday morning, Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to the area of 41 Ashmont Street in Dorchester, for a ShotSpotter activation as well as numerous 911 calls.
No victims were on located on scene when officers arrived, however, multiple shell casings were observed in the area as well as ballistic damage to at least one home. The scene and ballistic evidence was photographed, collected, and processed accordingly.
At this time no arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
