Late last night at approximately 22:30 hours, Officers from District C-6 responded to a call for a disturbance at the Element Hotel on the Southie/Seaport District line. Upon arrival, officers were told by security that an individual had thrown themselves through a window, landing in the rear of the hotel.
Initial investigation located a male in the loading dock area of the hotel, unconscious and struggling to breathe, surrounded by broken glass from the window through which he fell some 30 feet above. Officers immediately requested Boston EMS, and EMTs and Paramedics arrived on scene and began aid. He was transferred to a local area hospital with severe injuries where he was deemed to be in critical condition.
Because of the severity of his condition, District Detectives were called to the scene. They were able to determine that he was a teenager visiting from down south, however no further information regarding the incident is available at this time.
