Two Shot Overnight on Dudley Street in Roxbury

Shortly before 22:00 hours, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to the area of Mount Pleasant Ave and Dudley Street for the reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, they found a female victim laying on the street outside her vehicle with a gunshot wound to the leg bleeding profusely. Boston Police immediately began to render aid, calling Boston EMS who promptly responded and transferred the victim to a local area trauma center with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Once BEMS arrived to takeover, District Detectives continued to investigate, processing ballistic evidence including shell casings and ballistic damage to the vehicle.

While district detectives were processing the scene, another victim self-presented to a local area hospital, again with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Both victims confirmed that their injuries came from the same incident.
