Monday evening at approximately 19:45 hours, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 and Boston EMS responded to an apartment in the area of Quincy Street and Blue Hill Ave, Roxbury, for the reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, first responders found a victim inside the apartment that had clearly sustained a gun shot wound to the chest. Further investigation located a vehicle located in the back of the apartment that had blood as well as ballistic damage.
Detectives were called to the scene to process evidence, towing the car pending a warrant. Boston EMS transported the victim to a local area trauma unit with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
