Person Shot Near Toldeo Terrace In Dorchester Yesterday Evening

Wednesday evening, approximately 18:30 hours, Boston Police Officers from District C-11 responded to multiple ShotSpotter activations in the small block of Dorchester comprised of Toledo Terrace, Arcadia Street, and Westville Street.

A 911 caller reported a person shot while officers were still canvasing the scene, eventually locating the victim a little under a mile away at the intersection of Winter Street and Parish Street near Adams Park.

Boston EMS was called in to aid the victim, ultimately transporting him to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Back in the area of the initial ShotSpotter, District Detectives processed multiple spent shell casings and ballistic damage to vehicles in the area of 5 Toledo Terrace.
