At approximately 19:20 hours Friday evening, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 and Boston EMS responded to the area of Ruggles Street and Cabot Street in Roxbury for the reports of a person shot.
Officers arrived on scene to find ballistic damage to a third floor window. First responders immediately went in to find a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
