Boston Fire and Boston Police Respond to Collapsed Building in North End

Early Wednesday Afternoon, approximately 13:15 hours, Boston Police and Boston Fire responded to the area of Baldwin Place for reports of a partial building collapsed in the North End.

Boston Fire Department and Boston Police from District A-1 immediately evacuated the building. First Responders worked to secure the area from further damage; however, the cause of the collapse has not been confirmed.

No injuries reported at this time, however numerous people were displaced as a result, with no word on when occupants will be able to return.
