Late Saturday evening, shortly before 00:00 hours, Boston Police Officers from District B-2 responded to the area of 14 John Elliot Square, in Roxbury, after calls were made for what seemed like a domestic dispute.
The caller reported a man and woman arguing, with the man appearing to have an injury to his leg. Boston Police Officers were first on scene, locating a knife along with the victim who had a stab wound to the leg.
BPD secured the weapon and immediately began to render aid while waiting for EMS. Boston EMS arrived within minutes, took over aid, and ultimately transported the victim to a local area hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time we are unable to confirm whether the stabbing was self-inflicted or inflicted by a third party. No further information is available.
