Tuesday evening, at approximately 21:45, a fight broke out between what one local described as the “resident drug dealers” that frequently cause problems in the Downtown Crossing Area.
Boston Police has increased their presence and enforcement in the area, however this locally known crew has yet to pack up and move. Eye witnesses reported seeing one of the men involved in the incident with a stab wound to the head – making this incident another case of violence that frequently accompanies narcotic sales in Downtown Crossing.
The video below, captured by one of our photographers, shows the men lunging at each other for a brief time before one of them drives a knife repeatedly into the other until witnesses were able to separate the two. Boston Police and Boston EMS were called to the scene; however the victim was said to be belligerent and uncooperative before becoming aggressive and combative.
