Early Morning Shots Fired In Jamaica Plain

Tuesday morning, at approximately 02:30 hours, Boston Police Officers from District E-13 responded to a ShotSpotter activation for at least 7 rounds fired in the area of Roys Street in Jamaica Plain.

When officers arrived on scene they did not locate any victims, however there were multiple spent shell casings on the street, and possible ballistic damage to a vehicle parked in the area at the time. Detectives were called to the scene to process ballistic evidence.

At this time no arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
