Shortly after midnight Sunday morning, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-3, responded to the area of 586 Cummins Highway, in Mattapan, for reports of a motor vehicle accident involving one vehicle crashing into a parked car.
The driver of the vehicle initially tried to place the blame on the man on his porch at the house next to where she crashed, stating that he was the driver. The man, who lived there, didn’t speak English and was an easy target to place blame. This story was quickly dismissed when it became apparent that she was under the influence – with officers locating an open container, pills, and marijuana in the car.
Tessa Hall, aged 37, of Pawtucket, RI, was arrested and has been charged with Operating Under the Influence as well as Possession of Class C drugs, and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court at a later date. No further information is available at this time.
