Over Ten Rounds Fired in Jamaica Plain Projects

Shortly after 18:00 hours Saturday evening, Boston Police Officers assigned to District E-13 responded to the South Street projects on McCalf Ct in Jamaica Plain, for the initial reports of over ten rounds fired.

Units responded and immediately located ballistic damage as well as shell casings at the scene. No victims were found, however it is suspected that the target was a person who was released from jail less than an hour prior to the incident who resides in the building.

Detectives processed the ballistics found and talked to eye witnesses in the area as well as those who lived in the housing complex. The incident is currently still under investigation at this time and no further information has been released.
