Tuesday night, shortly after 21:00 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-2 responded to the H-Block neighborhood of Roxbury for a ShotSpotter activation for 4 rounds.
Officers arrived on scene and after finding no suspects or victims, began to canvass the area. A total of 12 rounds were fired given the ballistic evidence in the area, and it was reported that the shooters were believed to be on a red moped as they fired into a vehicle that had fled the area, leaving shattered glass along with the spent shell casings in the street. District Detectives responded to the scene to photograph and process ballistic evidence.
Later in the night, an individual called into BPD reporting that her vehicle had been hit, however the caller swore that they weren’t driving at the time it had been shot, and that they instead found it like that on the street. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
