Woman Stabbed Yesterday Afternoon on Tremont Street

Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 18:30 hours, Boston Police responded to 911 calls for a woman stabbed to the hand near Slade’s Bar and Grill in the South End. Officers arrived and were told that a woman had ran into the back kitchen holding a baby screaming that she needed help. They called 911 but she fled and ran to a house up the street.

Police and Boston EMS followed a trail of blood to the door of a residence up the street and found that she had locked herself inside. They eventually got inside to find the woman screaming erratically. She was cussing at officers and refusing medical care.

The small child she was carrying at the time was not present and the location remains unknown. She appeared to be potentially intoxicated with some sort of mental health issue going on at the time. No one at the residence would cooperate with police. No further information is available at this time.
