Early Morning Stabbing at Franklin Field Projects Sends Woman to Hospital

Saturday morning, at approximately 04:00 hours, Boston Police officers assigned to District B-3 responded to calls for a person stabbed in the area of Westview and Blue Hill Ave in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a female suffering from a stab wound to her neck post assault and requested a push on Boston EMS. EMTs and paramedics quickly arrived on scene and transported the woman to a local area trauma center where she is expected to arrive with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A crime scene was established at the intersection where blood, hair, jewelry, broken bottles in parts of weaves could be seen strewn throughout the street. District Detectives were called in to process the scene. While processing the crime scene, A second vehicle was located housing a possible suspect, and officers quickly detained all occupants. After a brief investigation it was found that one if not two of the women detained had also been stabbed. EMS was requested back to the scene where they tended to the woman who only had minor stab injuries and cuts.
