Early Tuesday morning, at approximately 01:50 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District C-11 responded to the area of 13 Wendover Street, in Dorchester, for the reports of 7 rounds fired.
Police arrived and were told by bystanders that a vehicle had reportedly fled the scene prior to their arrival. Police got an account of what had happened and tried to gather a vehicle description as they began their preliminary investigation of the scene. They recovered 4 shell casings and observed two houses that had been struck by gunfire.
District Detectives were called in to photograph and process the ballistic evidence. No injuries were reported and no further information is available at this time.
