Search For Shooter in Hyde Park Woods

Shortly after 16:00 hours yesterday afternoon, Boston Police Officers assigned to District E-5 received reports of one man shooting at another in the area 70 Georgetown Drive in Hyde Park.

Officers arrived on scene and got a suspect description before securing the area and beginning the search for the suspected shooter who had reportedly fled into the woods. Police requested backup as they continued their search, shortly thereafter recovering a firearm that had presumably been discarded when the shooter fled.

It has yet to be confirmed if BPD ended up making any arrests, no further information is available at this time.
