Thursday night, at approximately 21:30 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-2 received a call from a woman who had left her door unlocked and come home to it being dead bolted shut at a residence in the area of Sonoma Street in Roxbury.
Given that she lived alone, the fear was that someone had gone into the house while she had stepped out. At one point she thought that she had seen something move inside, so she called 911 to have them investigate.
Boston Police, K-9, and a gun car with members of the SWAT Team responded but were unable to find any evidence of a threat in the residence. They secured the residence and the woman was able to go back into her home, chalking it up as a freak accident, or a ghost.
