Major MVA in Roxbury Leaves Woman Stuck in Vehicle

Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 15:00 hours, Boston EMS, Boston Police, and Boston Fire responded to the area of Walnut Ave and Dale Street, in Roxbury, for reports of a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment

Boston Fire arrived first to find the wreck with a woman who was seriously injured and unable to get out of the vehicle. She had been seated in the back and thrown to the front of the vehicle upon collision, sustaining serious lower body and torso injuries. She was alert and screaming out in pain for 15 minutes while Boston Firefighters and paramedics works tirelessly until they were able to free the woman. She was eventually transferred with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The auto investigator for District B-2 was called to the scene to conduct a crash investigation, but has not released any further information regarding cause of the crash. No charges have been made and there has been no update on the woman’s condition.
