Firearm Recovered After Person Shot in Roxbury

Yesterday evening, around 20:00 hours, Boston Police assigned to District B-2 responded to the area of 103 Zeigler Street, in Roxbury, for reports of a person shot.

The victim had self presented to a local area hospital on their own when BPD Officers arrived at the scene. District detectives and BPD K-9 were called in to process ballistic evidence. A firearm was eventually recovered nearby and processed as well.

There has been no update on the victim’s condition or the circumstances around the shooting.
