Suspects Flee After Three People Shot Off Dudley Street

Shortly after 21:30 hours Friday night, Boston Police Officers assigned to District B-2 responded to 129 Brook Avenue for a ShotSpotter activation of multiple rounds. Minutes later, a 911 caller reported a person shot at 571 Dudley Street.

Officers arrived and found three victims on scene that had suffered an apparent gun shot wounds, one of which received a shot to the leg, another to the foot, and the third unconfirmed. Boston EMS arrived immediately where they transported all three victims to local area hospitals where they were treated for serious injuries. Their conditions have not been updated.

Officers and District Detectives secured two crime scenes and began searching for evidence. Sources reported a moped being left on the street following the shooting. A window of a nearby residence as well as a white Jeep sustained ballistic damage. Video footage in the area pointed officers to a white pickup truck that had also been struck, and it was thought that there were 3 suspects involved with the shooting inside the vehicle.
