Four Suspects in Custody After Three Firearms, Drugs, and Cash Recovered During Investigation in Downtown Boston

At about 3:23 AM on Friday July 23, 2021, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) arrested four individuals after recovering three firearms, drugs, and cash during an investigation in the area of Milk Street and India Street, in Downtown Boston.

The officers were on directed patrol in the area of McKinley Square in response to numerous overnight robberies, both armed and unarmed, when they observed a group gathered in Jenney Plaza. The group of twelve individuals were observed loitering in front of four clearly marked No Trespassing signs.

While on scene, officers arrested Sixianaliz Guzman, 22, of Roxbury, after recovering a loaded .22 caliber Rohm RG10 revolver, as well as a Glock 19 handgun which was missing its trigger assembly from inside a backpack the suspect was carrying. Officers also arrested Filsdyn Modan, 25, of Someville, following the recovery of a loaded .22 caliber Ruger MKII handgun from inside his backpack.

Officers then arrested Kadir Tirmizey, 26, of Saugus on drug related charges after recovering a large plastic bag of marijuana, a smaller plastic bag of cocaine, a digital scale, and $479.00 in U.S. Currency from a bag he had been carrying. Officers arrested a fourth individual, identified as Shanna Nyelle, 21, of Boston, after discovering she was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant sought out of Woburn District Court on a charge of Larceny Over $1200. Eight other individuals on scene were released from the scene and will be summonsed for Trespassing.

All parties will appear in Boston Municipal Court for arraignment. Sixianaliz Guzman and Filsdyn Modan will be charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Carrying a Loaded Firearm and Trespassing. Kadir Tirmizey will be charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B and D Drugs. Shanna Nyelle will be arraigned for her existing warrant and will be charged additionally with Trespassing.
