Sunday morning, at approximately 02:45 hours, Boston Police Officers responded to the area of 2875 Washington Street, in Roxbury, for reports of a person shot.
Officers arrived and found the victim who had sustained a gun shot wound. Boston EMS transported him to a local area hospital where they are expected to survive. There was a dog that was also shot in the car as well that was cared for by BPD while the investigation was underway before animal control was able to bring her to a veterinary hospital.
District Detectives were called in to process the scene, and the victim’s dog ultimately went to Angell until the owner is able to care for she or he again. No arrests have been made and no further information is available at this time.
