Shots Fired and Firearm Recovered in Dorchester Sunday

Sunday night, at approximately 23:15 hours, Boston Police Officers assigned to District C-11 responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Speedwell Street and Norton Street in Dorchester.

Officers arrived and found no victims or potential suspects in the immediate vicinity and began to search for ballistics. They found two spent shell casings as well as a discarded firearm.

District Detectives were called in to process ballistics as well as the firearm. There is no further information on possible suspects.
