On Monday August 23rd at 21:00 hours officers from Boston Police District C6 and the Massachusetts State Police responded along with the Boston Fire Department and Boston EMS for reports of a pedestrian stuck.
According to witnesses, the victim appeared to have been riding a bike across the oncoming traffic, and in a reckless manner, before being struck by a car. It appears as though the car simply could not stop fast enough.
No charges are expected at this time. The victim was suffering from serious injuries, however is expected to survive.
