No Suspects in H-Block Shooting, Victim Expected To Recover

On August 24th at 18:30, Boston Police officers from District B2 responded to a Shotspotter activation on Herreshoff, in the H-Block area of Roxbury.

Surveillance of the area showed numerous people running and attempting to take cover. The first arriving units located ballistic damage to a nearby vehicle, and shell casings in the street.

Detectives were quickly called in to process the scene, and to take possession of the evidence. While on scene, a victim was transported by car to a local hospital with serious gun shot wound to the leg. The victim is expected to make a recovery. There are no suspects at this time.
